AFU Visioning meeting
Mapping some of the next steps for collaborative education in Toronto(Minutes are here)

  • When: Saturday, 9 June 2007
    • 10:00am - 5:15pm
    • Coffee and a light vegan lunch will be provided
  • Where: 215 Spadina, Centre for Social Innovation, Fourth floor (Press "4R" in the elvator, not "4"!)
  • Free (donations welcome to cover venue and food costs, but not necessary)

A day of open guided discussion, dreaming and planning around the past, present, and future of AFU.
  • New faces... come get involved, learn some AFU history, claim collective ownership (or not), meet some of your fellow AFU'ers
  • Familiar faces... reflect, refocus, remind, reinvigorate
  • Fellow travelers and curious types... learn about a fascinating and long-standing horizontal education project in Toronto, meet some rad folks

Everyone is welcome to come out and breathe some new life in to hopes and dreams for liberated education. Come to listen, come to talk, or come to take the first step on a related side project or two.

Open to all: whether you've never been to a class before, or facilitated seventeen, we're looking forward to having you in the mix.

Schedule

The schedule for the day is currently being tightened up. We are aiming for a good balance between guided discussion and open form. Comments welcome.
